THE BOOK OF ACTS - CHURCH THAT CAN'T BE STOPPED 8/2/26
THE BOOK OF ACTS – Week 8: "A Church That Can't Be Stopped" | Acts 8:1–8
Can anything stop the Gospel?
After the death of Stephen, the early church faced intense persecution. Believers were forced to leave their homes, families were scattered, and it appeared as though the mission had come to an end. But what looked like defeat became the very means God used to spread the Good News beyond Jerusalem.
In Acts 8, we see that opposition doesn't stop God's plan—it often advances it. Through ordinary believers like Philip, the Gospel reached new cities, lives were transformed, and great joy filled entire communities. God has always used willing people to accomplish extraordinary things.
Join us as we continue our journey through the Book of Acts and discover why no amount of persecution, fear, or opposition can stop what God has begun. The Church belongs to Christ, the mission continues, and the Holy Spirit still empowers His people to take the Gospel wherever He leads.
