Come Close to God

In Week 8 of **“The Book of James,”** we continue through the series with a message titled **“Come Close to God”** from **James 4:7–5:6**.

After confronting pride, selfish ambition, worldliness, judgment, and divided loyalty, James gives a powerful invitation:

**Come close to God, and God will come close to you.**

This message reminds us that victory begins with surrender, humility draws grace near, and real faith is not just religious — it is relational. God is not looking for casual Christianity or halfway surrender. He wants our hearts close to Him.

If pride, compromise, self-reliance, judgment, or chasing temporary things has created distance between you and God, His invitation is still the same:

**Come close again.**

Because real faith does not just know about God.

It stays near to Him.
